Maria Clara Lima, originally from Brazil, is a Graphic Designer and Visual Artist. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Design from Universidade Lusófona (2019-2022) and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Publishing at the same institution. In 2022, she completed an internship at Galeria Zé dos Bois, where she continues to work as a Graphic Designer. Since 2023, she has been part of the faculty at Universidade Lusófona - DELLI, teaching in the area of production and printing. In parallel, she works as a freelancer in editorial and graphic design, as well as in artistic and cultural projects, curation, and visual arts. Her work stands out for its diversity and involvement in notable artistic initiatives. In 2023, she published the book Ordinary Reality, presented as part of the Nervo Portuguese Photobooks project, which was exhibited in Porto. In 2024, she participated in the exhibition The Touching of the Wound at Dupla Cena, Lisbon, where she also took on curatorial responsibilities. Maria Clara is also the founder of the cultural space Sala de Estar, where she curated two exhibitions featuring national and international artists and managed studio spaces for resident artists.
