ODW8: Books make communities21 – 25 November 2022

Books make communities is a sequence of workshops – considered as editorial activities – in which the editor/designer-as-author explores publishing not only as a traditional book space, but also as an experimental curatorial structure for building communities. Publishing and editing in the 21st century is a determination that looks at the importance of the book, the library and the archive, as a fusion with digital practices and expanded notions of publishing. The page as a receptacle for written or printed information still emerges as a strong link to a certain humanism despite all the multiple technologies available at our fingertips.
