Philosophy
DE L LI is an experimental educational project. We understand that, like education, school is not a static and binding space, but one that is free and constantly being questioned.

1
We believe that the basis of school is learning. Its environment must therefore offer students the freedom and time to learn through personal and creative interaction. We value discovery and integrated self-learning in an informed, political and participatory context.
2
We believe that real learning happens naturally in experience, in interaction with things and with others. We therefore try to create an environment where students can prepare themselves with autonomy and self-organisation, in individual and collective practices.

3
We are a small community that values sharing, closeness and respect between everyone, without hierarchies. For us, school is a social and multicultural space that should foster relationships of friendship, care and responsibility.
4
We take learning very seriously. And all we expect from our students is total dedication to discovering their talents and building their path, in which we recognise that we are only a brief passage. Our teachers are prepared to help in this discovery, with the knowledge and tools to enable each student to explore their interests and ideas.

5

Our teaching practices foster collaboration and co-operation. We help students understand the importance of teamwork and good communication between peers.
6
Our teaching practices are structured around a multidisciplinary vision. We try to create a diverse learning environment in which students can get to know and experiment with different practices and areas of knowledge within the framework of design processes.

7
We work to ensure that our students develop an informed, broad and critical view of the situations and contexts in which they work, and are able to devise experimental tools to transform and create possibilities.
8
We value the interaction between artistic practice and design practice. Educating the senses through artistic experiences allows students to develop their aesthetic sensitivity and critical sense, as well as discovering their tendencies, forms and tools of expression.

9
We believe in learning by doing. Our programmes have a totally practical structure, based on a theoretical approach that is contextualised and articulated between the various disciplines, in which students are encouraged to critically reflect on and discuss their actions and positions.
10
All our teachers are designers, artists, curators or active theorists, bringing students closer to contemporary art and design practices and helping them to create their own network of contacts.

11
We believe that each student has their own background, knowledge, qualities and ways of working, and that this diversity is essential to creating a rich learning environment. We encourage students to deepen their interests and motivations, broadening and enriching their knowledge and experiences. We help them discover their individual and collective work processes, so that they can build and communicate their unique vision of the world, relating to it in a reasoned, open and responsible way.
12
We don't guide, we orientate. We don't give answers, we constantly question our students and encourage them to make their own choices. We believe that this is the main way to learn (design) and prepare them for an ever-changing world.
