Over and Out 2026: An exhibition featuring works by students of the BA in Communication Design and MA in Design programmes.
Opens on July 6th and runs until July 31st, at the Museu da Marinha, from 10am to 6pm.


Master in Design 2026/2027: Applications now open! The MA Design explores and expands new publishing practices, deepening the relationsbetween design and fields such as ecology, culture and food, around the idea of Publishing Futures. With this MA, you will be able to develop strategies to make pressing issues public, conceiving interactive and collaborative models through printed and digital media, as well as performance.


DesignMatters is holding the conference "Diversity in Design Research. Good Practices and Open Resources" in Barcelona.
The conference of this collaborative project co-funded by the EU will take place on April 20 at BAU. It will include the project presentation, several keynote speakers and a roundtable with civil society. Link to register: https://tinyurl.com/yepes3h8

The conference will be held in presence at Sapienza University of Rome, as well as online, on 13 October 2025, 10:00-18:30 CET. DesignMatters is an Erasmus+ project developed in partnership with Cumulus, with the goal of promoting inclusion and diversity in doctoral education in design, by developing shared methods and standards for PhD programs across Europe. Through fostering collaboration among academia, civil society, and local communities, the initiative seeks to bridge academic research with real-world needs. The event will feature four expert keynote speakers and a roundtable with civil society actors, as well as a presentation of the Erasmus+ project itself.
